Katie Staib
Katie’s diverse, international background influences her design concepts. She spent five years living and working abroad. Her international experience ranges from teaching art in Japan to property development in Central America. In Japan, Katie was the Coordinator of International Art and English Relations. While living in Costa Rica for two years, Katie worked on various development projects and transformed a dilapidated building into a beautiful beachfront estate.
Upon returning to the United States, Katie went to work for Pottery Barn and became a Certified Design Specialist. Katie has five years of design experience through Pottery Barn. She received her Associate of Arts in Art from Saddleback College in Southern California and her Bachelor of Arts in Business from Whitworth University in Washington.

BABY ROOM MURAL
Inspired by a wallpaper design, this birch tree mural creates a magical space for the newest member of the family.
HAYDEN LAKE ESTATE
The walls had been taken down to studs and only floorboards existed when Katie met with this client.
NICARAGUA
A non-profit with an aim of helping “at risk” youth reform their lives through education and entrepreneurship training utilized Katie’s services.
COSTA RICA
The location was beautiful, situated in a sleepy fishing village on the Nicoya Peninsula, and adjacent to a secluded beach.
